About Matt Neill & MCN Systems

A Legacy of Sound: From Navy Calliopes to World-Class Organ Service

MCN Systems is more than a repair shop — it’s a unique destination for vintage organ enthusiasts, musicians, churches, and collectors across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Owned by Matt C. Neill, the Hillsboro-based business brings over 55 years of hands-on expertise in electronic organ repair, vintage audio, and rare parts preservation.

Matt’s passion began aboard a Navy ship off Korea, where he built his first organ — launching a lifelong career. Today, his 6,000-square-foot facility is filled with restored organs, Leslie cabinets, speakers, and rare tubes, reflecting decades of craftsmanship and dedication.

From Hammond QC to Hillsboro’s Largest Vintage Organ Warehouse

Before founding MCN Systems, Matt Neill worked in Quality Control at the Hammond Organ Company, gaining rare, insider-level knowledge of these iconic instruments. That experience became the foundation for a lifelong pursuit of restoring, modifying, and supplying vintage electronic organs with exceptional care and authenticity. Today, MCN Systems operates from a fully stocked 6,000 sq ft warehouse at 21440 NW Nicholas Ct, Suite E, Hillsboro, OR 97124, packed wall to wall with preowned electronic organs from the 1950s–1990s, Leslie speakers and vintage audio gear, rare and NOS vacuum tubes, and replacement parts for nearly every major brand, including Rodgers Instruments, Conn, Wurlitzer, Lowrey, Yamaha, Allen Organ Company, Baldwin, Roland, Gulbransen, Kimball, and Thomas Organ Company. The warehouse also houses custom-built calliopes, retro electronic special effects, and vintage parts and equipment from Tektronix, making MCN Systems a true destination for musicians, collectors, and technicians alike.

Why MCN Systems Is Unlike Any Other Shop

What sets MCN Systems apart is not just inventory — it’s the passion behind the work. Matt isn’t a reseller or casual enthusiast. He’s a technician, performer, engineer, and builder with deep respect for vintage analog gear.

Over the years, he’s entertained crowds with custom calliope performances at local fairs, built one-of-a-kind showpieces for Columbia River cruises, and helped churches and musicians preserve irreplaceable instruments that modern techs won’t touch.

This isn't just a job — it's a mission to keep the legacy of vintage organ music alive.
